Making the leap from stay at home mom to full time teacher has been a crazy journey. Join me here as I hopefully keep on top of sharing about my family and I's journey through this crazy busy life.

Great Aunt Jo feeding Aaron
The Weimer family and Aaron
Alec on yet another easter egg hunt. He had a BLAST following Murell and Julian around and trying to do everything that they did!
Alec picked out his own easter basket this year. He fell in LOVE with this Shrek basket that we found at Kohls. He also picked out Aaron's basket for him. It was in the shape of a baseball.
Aaron did not care much for hunting for easter egggs but he sure did enjoy trying to chew on them!
Alec was SO surprised on Easter morning to find the basket full of Thomas gear that was left for him! How the heck did the easter bunny know??
Adam and Alec making a green egg...(I know, thank you captain obvious!!)
Alec had some fun with the stickers...ok, Adam and I stuck them all over his face, but he was laughing hysterically when we did it. He then removed them one by one and put them all over the eggs. What a wonderful family night!
Hmmm....looks like some kind of light pattern in the dark....
It seems to be moving around pretty fast....can you guess??
If you guessed Adam playing outside in the dark with his new light saber, then you were right!!!
We were at costco at they had official Star Wars light sabers there and adam could not resist buying one. He had just been looking at them online so he was excited to see them somewhere in person and for such a good price. He has a BLAST with it! I guess we all have a little geek in us...and here is Adam's!!
Alec is a classic back sleeper and moves a lot in his sleep. He is pretty hard to wake up and will sleep through almost anything at night. The only problem is that he is a early riser. Adam and I are NOT morning people so it does not go over very big when Alec gets up at 6:30 a.m. and comes into our room to play. He has learned to go and "snap" his train tracks together by himself for an hour before we get up. I think he enjoys the peace and quiet.
Aaron is what I call a stink bug sleeper. He sleeps on his tummy, with his legs tucked under him and his butt up in the air. For quite a while he was a very light sleeper and the smallest sound would wake him up. Thankfully he has become more like his brother and will now sleep through almost anything....as long as he has his binky. I have a feeling that it is going to be harder to take away from him then it was from Alec.
Here is Alec with the Easter bunny. I am actually quite surprised that he so willingly went up and took a picture with him. I would have been terrified if I was his age!!
The three Young girls out for a fun night. Have I mentioned before how much I LOVE my sisters?
Ok, so two beers and one shot does me in. I was a tad toasted. When did I become such a lightweight?
Sportin' his first Angels hat. A tad too big, but still adorable!
Aaron is SO close to crawling! He will get on all fours and rock back and forth. He will then move forward with his arms, but then do a face plant since he does not know how to move his legs yet. He also managed to get a nice spit foam going on his chin from blowing raspberries. Very attractive!
Aaron turned 7 months old on the 25th of this month. He is getting bigger and is developing more and more personality each day! He has finally taken to solid food with his favorites being applesauce and sweet potatoes. He has learned how to twist, turn, and roll across the floor to get to a toy or anything else that he wants. He seems to be quite mischevious and I can only imagine what things he is going to be into when he really starts moving.
This is a view from the family room looking into the breakfast nook, part of the kitchen, and onto the backyard. The current owners are smokers so we will need to paint the house from top to bottom and re-do the flooring. Not a problem since the decorating style is not exactly what we want anyway. The house has SO much potential and I can't wait to get in there and start doing stuff!
Here is a picture of the outside of the house downloaded from the MLS. On the day of the inspection we met our neighbors who were very nice. They said that the culdesac is filled with children playing on the weekends and that everyone gets along very well. I am sure we will fit in the community very well!
A picture of Adam standing in the living room taken by me standing at the top of the stairs. Alec is SO excited that he will be moving to a house with stairs...I am more excited about a inside laundry room. Wow, have my priorities changed!!
Alec and Maddie strolling along in the zoo. Next thing you know Alec will be buying Maddie a sippy cup full of milk and a cookie! How two-year-old romantic!
For some reason the pictures came up a little out of order but it is late and I don't feel like trying to change them around. Anyway, here is Alec on the way home after a day filled with fun. This is about the only time during the day where he is NOT talking. Aaahhh...peace and quiet!
Carrie, Kelly, Myself, Aaron, and Brian having some fun at the zoo. Apparently Aaron's Baby Bjorn has some reflective strips on it. Does not make for the most flattering picture of one's self!
There were only two good things about our seats...their view of the bullpins and the proximity to the snack stand. Now if only the beers were not 10 bucks a pop!!
The four of us trying to keep warm at the game. As you can tell from the empty seats, lots of people decided to skip out on the game and stay home where it was not FREEZING!!
Me and my ever hilarious hubby! Who can resist a nice face like that? I am so lucky!!
Cheers!! Oops...hope that is Mommy's wine glass!
Alec and AJ
Alec thought it was the greatest thing that Daddy was outside doing the lawn so he ran and got his play lawn mower and started helping. I bet Adam can't wait till Alec is big enough to do the entire job himself!
Helping Daddy push the big lawn mower.
Miss Heidi and Ian in front of the class while we sang Happy Birthday to Ian.
Alec playing outside holding his favorite train toy. He always rushes outside at the start of free play to make sure and grab his train. Watch out if someone else is playing with it!!! No one messes with Alec and his trains!
